People and Trees

I pho­tographed this tree and later in the day I wrapped my palm around the branch of a dif­fer­ent tree – used it to help me swing around a cor­ner. It had a smooth bark, this sec­ond tree of the day, and it felt cool. It worked per­fectly for get­ting me around that left turn, slid­ing across my palm, sturdy, and right-sized. Just a moment or two with trees in a day, pretty good.
