I photographed this tree and later in the day I wrapped my palm around the branch of a different tree – used it to help me swing around a corner. It had a smooth bark, this second tree of the day, and it felt cool. It worked perfectly for getting me around that left turn, sliding across my palm, sturdy, and right-sized. Just a moment or two with trees in a day, pretty good.
