Snow 4

Snow 4

Anita asked me how I am changing with a child on the way.
I am rooted, more, earthly.
The spot of ground around me feels like a whole lot more because I am no longer in it
alone.
The spot of ground around me feels like a whole lot less because I am no longer
in it alone.
My influence on another world of life is subtle, unmistakable, limited and possibly
wonderful.
I am looking for him everywhere now.
I am to be the honest man he finds in this world.
I am to be that man.

Evocative snow, Stephen — from harsh winters in Dublin, Rochester NY , and Buffalo, and especially the trunk hammered with long-life flakes — the home and big yard trees on the banks of the Tennessee River –7814 Cove Ridge. I am back there…

Indeed. Not much snow now where you are, but the fronts do bring some weather your way. I am sure you sometimes miss the snappy air you like so much.
