Cass makes hats. Love that sentence. Sounds Seuss-ish, or maybe like an album by They Might be Giants.
When I got home from work today there was a package in the box from Cass with hats she designed for Pistil Designs. No note, no reason, just a gift. I love that. One of the harder things for me to do is receive. One way to stay isolated is to be needless and wantless, especially wantless. But wants are a way to let you know me. I like that. I want a little of that. I need that. If I don‘t ever need or want anything I create the illusion that I can do this life alone. But I now know (through repeated experimentation) that I neither need, nor want, that.
We like the hats Cass. Thank you. Here is an idea for Fall ’11.
Afraid I would just laugh all the time with those things tickling my ears. Wouldn’t that be a travesty.
