I go to concerts, spoken word, galleries, museums to expand the questions and possibilities for my own art. I make connections when I am in the midst of art. And I feel. Where there was nothing happening for me artistically, there is suddenly a lot. Beauty begets beauty. We went to a party for a friend. One of her gifts was three friends doing a dance for her. I loved how open and generous it was. I took pictures.
Yesterday our son, was born. Beauty and love so overwhelming I lost my breath. His first gift for me. I felt walls in me washing away and floods rolling through me. I lost my breath and then he brought me more. Breath and beauty together: inspiration.
